Which graphite grade is best for EDM?

It depends on the workpiece metal, cavity detail, target finish and whether you prioritize speed or electrode life. Grades classified as EDM graphite (fine-grain isostatic within that family) are the ones suited to electrodes; impregnation is evaluated when finish requires it.

Do you sell only blocks or finished electrodes too?

Both. Quote block or blank for in-house machining, or a finished electrode from drawing. Share dimensions, tolerances and quantity.

Can you match a Mersen, SGL or other brand grade?

Often yes, through technical comparison. Share current grade, datasheet or sample, workpiece metal and priority (speed, wear, finish). Applications engineering validates the equivalence.

What data speeds up an electrode quote?

Drawing or model, workpiece material, target surface finish, quantity and whether impregnation is needed. Knowing a grade already used in the shop also helps.
